ALL ATHLETES: 

Team Dues

In order for the team to continue operations, the team collects dues from each student-athlete. These funds cover the cost of one team jersey per athlete and operating expenses, including Dirty Wheels, radios, canopies, first-aid supplies, bike-repair supplies, pre-ride nutrition, team BBQ, the end-of-season banquet, and more. For the 2027 season, the cost for non-racing student athletes is $50 per rider. Racing student-athletes are exempt from Team Dues in order to help offset the cost of racing. It is important to note that we have multiple scholarships available each year. Please reach out to Carrie and Brian if you have any questions.  Click here to process team dues. On the Donation page, select "My Donation is For Caiman Athletics", and in the comments section, type "CAHS MTB team dues for <your student's name>".  

ALL ATHLETES: 

SoCal League Registration

All Athletes will need to register with SoCal League. SoCal League has a new system this year that makes it easier than ever to register for the season. Brandon, the league director,  made a walkthrough video here that I highly recommend watching before you complet registration. Associated costs may be broken into multiple payments. As with team dues, SoCal League has scholarships available for riders, if you are interested (I recommend doing this before starting SoCal League registration) please reach out to them directly. Athlete registration with the SoCal League must be completed before the Dirty Wheels kickoff on December 5, 2026

HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES: 

Classical Academy Home Campus Clearance

This is a requirement from CAHS for all student athletes for all sports and does not have any additional registration costs. Classical Athletics has a very helpful clearance process documented here. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out directly to athletics@classicalacademy.com. Home Campus clearance must be completed before the Dirty Wheels kickoff on December 5, 2026

1. Visit Home Campus.

2. New families: Select "Create an Account," verify your email address, and log in.

3. Returning families: Log in using your existing account.

4. Select "Start Clearance Here."

ALL COACHES: 

SoCal League Registration

You will see the option to register as a coach once you have created a LeagueApps account. Pro tip - if you've already registered your student athlete and need to go back and register yourself as a coach, go back to the SoCal League Race Page, click "Register Student Athlete", and click "Register" to get back to the screen to add yourself as a coach. For registration and requirements purposes, there is no distinction between a lead and an assistant coach. However, note that our team will still differentiate between lead and assistant coaches for organizational purposes. Coach registration and its corresponding requirements must be completed before the Dirty Wheels kickoff on December 5, 2026. 

Assistant Coach – Works under the supervision of a Lead Coach, providing assistance but not leading sanctioned activities. All first-year coaches are Assistant Coaches

Lead Coach –  Leads and/or assists other coaches at both levels in sanctioned activities.
