REGULAR SEASON REGISTRATION

ALL STUDENTS STEP 1: 

Classical Athletic Clearance

All athletes, whether high school or middle school, will need to register through the Classical Academy High School (CAHS) registration process. This is completed through the Home Campus system. If it is your first time registering, you will need to create an account. If you are returning, please use your existing account. All steps are managed by CAHS and detailed instructions can be found here. Each student athlete will require a Preparticipation Physical Evaluation (PPE) and insurance information. Per the information on the Caiman Sports website, all information will be processed through Home Campus. Utilizing the CAHS registration process has allowed us to lower team dues by 50% over previous years. 

ALL STUDENTS STEP 2: 

Team Dues

In order for the team to continue operations, the team collects dues from each student athlete. These funds cover the cost of one team jersey per athlete and operating expenses such as Dirty Wheels, radios, tents, first aid supplies, bike repair supplies, pre-ride nutrition, team BBQ, the end-of-season banquet, and more. For the 2026 season, the cost for non-racing student athletes is $100 per rider. The cost for racers is $50 each in order to help offset the cost of racing, and to help promote participation. It is important to note that we have multiple scholarships available each year. Please reach out to Carrie and Brian if you have any questions.  Click here to process team dues. OPTIONAL REGISTRATION, IF YOU CHOOSE TO RACE: 

SoCal League Registration Through CCN

Racing is not required. However we encourage all student athletes to participate in competition through the SoCal League, which categorizes riders by grade, gender, and experience. Participation in SoCal League races require an additional cost that is collected by SoCal League. To register with the SoCal League click here and use the passcode: cahsmtb to register with our team. For the 2026 season, student athletes must pay for all races for the season, even if they are not able to attend them all (they no longer offer a-la-carte) at an earlybird cost of $365. ALL COACHES

All coaches are required to register for the safety of student athletes, and the development of coaching ability. While there are no costs to register, there may be cost to fulfill registration requirements (e.g. First Aid + CPR and background check). Note that most of the requirements are the same. You can use the same achievement for both registrations (e.g. the Concussion training certificate will apply to both).  Step 1: Register with Classical Academy High Shool, following these instructions. Step 2: Will require registration with both the SoCal League (by clicking here and using the passcode: cahsmtb). When registering with the SoCal League, keep in mind that the Classical Academy Mountain Bike Team has two levels of coaches:

Assistant Coach – Works under the supervision of a Lead Coach providing assistance but not leading sanctioned activities. All first year coaches are Assistant Coaches

Lead Coach –  Leads and/or assists other coaches at both levels in sanctioned activities.
